'Social Studies (Geography and History) fires pupil's curiosity
about the past and present, and about local places and the wider world. It considers
how the past influences the present, what past societies were like, how these
societies were organized, their politics, and what beliefs and cultures influenced
people's actions. It develops knowledge of places and environments throughout
the world.'
We intergrate the Turks and Caicos Social Studies curriculum guidelines into the British National Curriculum, extending ideas and views to develop knowledge of history, places and environments throughout the world.
