Assessment

Children are tested yearly, from the age of 7, in the core subjects of English, Math (and Science in Years 3-7). We use the standardized British National Curriculum tests and optional tests, which are sent out to our school by The Department for Education in The UK.

The questions reflect the curriculum taught at our school. The results give us age- standardised scores and National Curriculum levels. They allow us to compare the achievements of our students with others of the same age and enable us to formulate targets for future development.

Testing also allows parents the opportunity to compare their child's test score with those of the same age group in The UK.
